Terms of Service

By accessing or using Istory Decks at decks.istory.cc, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Istory Decks provides AI-assisted tools for generating and editing presentation files. The service is currently in public beta. Features, quality, and availability may change without notice during this period.

You agree not to:

• Upload files or submit prompts containing illegal, harmful, defamatory, or infringing content.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract data from the service.
• Use automated scripts to abuse or overload the service.
• Resell or redistribute service outputs in a way that misrepresents their origin.
• Upload files containing personal data of others without appropriate authorization.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations without notice.

Your content — You retain ownership of files you upload and content you generate. By using the service, you grant us a limited, temporary license to process your content solely to deliver the service.

Our service — The Istory Decks platform, interface, and underlying systems are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property law.

The service is provided "as is" during public beta. We do not guarantee:

• That generated presentations will be ready to present without human review.
• That AI outputs will be factually accurate, complete, or error-free.
• Continuous, uninterrupted availability of the service.

We recommend reviewing all generated content before use in professional or public contexts.

When paid plans are available, payments are processed through PayPal. Billing terms and plan details will be clearly stated at the point of purchase. Subscription cancellation and refund policies are governed by the Refund Policy.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Istory Decks is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to lost business, data loss, or presentation outcomes. Our total liability in any case is limited to the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding the claim.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We will try to provide advance notice for material changes, but this is not always possible during the beta period.

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first; if unresolved, through the appropriate legal channels.
